The Knee joint is a hinge joint, made up of femur and Tibia ( tibiofemoral joint) and cap of knee joint patella ( patellofemoral joint). The knee joint assisted by 4 ligaments, meniscus, cartilage & muscles of the knee joint.

Knee pain develops due to injury or stress over the muscles due to wrong biomechanics and loss of joint space because of osteoarthritis and due to direct trauma to the ligaments of the knee joint.
